"Dance is a little insanity that does us all good" - Edward Demby
Jordan has trained with top choreographers and teachers, such as Steven Norman, Avnun Yakubov, and Amanda Hickey-Newcom, all pristine ballet instructors known around the Midwest. Jordan competed with Envision Dance Company for 9 years, and ended her competition career with consecutive title wins, including Dancer of the Year with Celebration Talent Competition and Miss Starbound with Starbound Dance Competition, with her solo scoring a 299.1 out of 300 points. Jordan was also selected to be a part of LA Dance Magic Company, a convention/cometition company, where she performed around the US, and assisted choreographers such as DJ Guthrie, Albert Blaise, Eddie Moody, and Christian Vincent. Jordan has always had an intense love for performing. At a young age, she performed in Disney's Dance the Magic Parade in Disney World, Orlando Florida, where she led the parade dancing through Magic Kingdom. Jordan also appeared on TV in ABC's Disney Christmas Day Parade for two years where she danced with Neil Patrick Harris and Broadway's Cast of Newsies. Jordan gained a love for teaching by traveling with dance artists such as Amanda Preiser and Sky Nowotnik, who she closely assisted for several years. After spending a year at Hussian College Los Angeles studying Commercial Dance, she has since made a debut with her own choreography at several studios in the Chicagoland area, in addition to becoming an All Star coach. Jordan is ecstatic to be teaching the younger generation, and is looking forward to continuing to spread their adoration for the art of dance for years to come.
